Oh, wow. That's pretty awesome. Neat idea, too.
Thanks for posting this. The video is very neat to watch (even if it doesn't really provide us with much actual useable information). The discussion thread linked in that article kind of expands on the whole concept. I'm only disappointed that I wasn't a part of this project! One of those "wish I had thought of it first" moments.
My Complete Collection - Currently expanding my PS2 collection by buying up every five dollar game I see
This is totally geeky. I love it!
Actually, that video is quite beautiful and striking. I especially love the ending.
Super awesome. Gonna d/l this when I get back home later today!
What an interesting idea for a statistics project - comparing the runs on a specific level of a game to see what sort of commonalities exist. If you read the article, though, making that video was a *lot* of work. I'd've thrown out the run that used the Pause menu for sure

And the great cities wane and last descend
Into the dust, for all things have an end
It's nice when people do things like this. It really helps out some people to realise what the programmers were thinking and possibly come up with the best possible way to beat a game. Kind of like how some of these people can beat an NES game in 10 mintes or less like freaking crazy!
