Yesterday I bought my first Playstation 2. It was a defective unit, one that could not read DVD-based media. However I had heard the stories over the years about how this is easy to fix with a laser realignment. This may be true in many circumstances, but not in mine -- the unit's DVD laser is kaput, and is in need of replacement. Trust me, I completely disaasembled the thing to get to the laser voltage controls, I know. (Lousy SCPH-50001 model...)

So since I can only play games/music on CDs, that leaves me with PlayStation games and blue-bottom PS2 games. But despite my searching, I cannot for the life of me find a list of CD-based PS2 games on the Internet. Being the game "historians" that we are, I decided that if it has not been made already, we at Digital Press should take it upon ourselves to make the definitive list of PS2 CD discs!
