What happened to Mega Man X's value?

Whoa, I coulda swore that Mega Man X was going for like $45, $55 a year or so ago. What happened?

simple, blame Mega Man X Collection.

I was able to snag up Mega Man X1-X2-X3 easily lately after the game was released.

just like when Mega Man Anniversary Collection showed up, some of the NES games took a hit

Ooops. For some reason I had Mega Man X and Mega Man X3 confused. I was thinking that Mega Man X3 was the cheap one, and Mega Man X was the expensive one, and I got them all mixed up!

Seems like when the X Collection came out, the price went down a bit. I got all the Mega Man Super NES games in boxes for my birthday back in July, (I almost had a heart attack) and I know they were more expensive then, then they are now.

You still might have to donate a kidney to get a Complete version of X3...but hey, totally worth it

Hmm, I haven't taken a good look at the prices lately but I'd be surprised if x2 and x3 had such a large impact. I've got the whole series on snes but I need just the boxes for x2 and x3 =(. Got carts and manuals for both games but that's it. Same with Megaman 7. 1000+ damn snes boxes and I couldnt get one for those.
