Default Playing Pal Dreamcast games on US Hardware

Hi, I hope someone can help me out on this one as being in the UK, I don't have a US Dreamcast to test this out on.

Basically, I've been asked about playing Pal games, specifically Bangai-o on a US machine. Is this possible with the likes of DC-X or other boot discs?

I know there are a few incompatible US games on UK Dreamcasts but I've no experience of doing things the other way around!

I play UK Rez and Shenmue 2 on a US Dreamcast with the boot disc with no problem

Yes, try the DC-X or other boot disks

I've had a few problems with playing PAL games on my US Dreamcast but not as much as I'd imagined.

I understand that PAL consoles play NTSC games pretty well with fewer incompatibilities than PAL games to an NTSC console.

    Give it a try!

If I could I would. It was someone else who was asking - I don't have a US machine. I'll pass on the advice though - got to be worth a try... never got into the game myself personally.

DC-X has work for me on pal games any time i've played, Shenmue 2 or, Fighting Vipers 2.
