I am a fiction writer and know all about grammatical errors. However, when posting in a forum such as this, I make a few myself. I don't proofread my posts before hitting Submit. Here is my opinion.
This is the internet, not a college thesis. I don't make any money posting here and have nobody to impress. Unless the person making those mistakes is your child, brother or sister, then the best thing to do is ignore it. I don't expect everyone on here to have flawless grammar or spelling. It never ceases to amaze me that people point those things out on a forum which has people from all walks of life and locales posting. What do you expect? x_x It's almost as silly as not taking a poster seriously just because they don't have 5,000 posts. There is something to be said for treating every poster with some amount of respect, unless you prefer to have only the elite posting here. Save the barbs and bashing for shitty games and systems, not an unnecessary question or grammatical error.
I'll be back in an hour to check on all my errors that the alert readers point out. Remember, I didn't proofread before submitting.
