Dai Senryaku VII is definately not hard to find, depending where you live. Every Shopko and Pamida I've been to has several copies for $9.99. I've seen it as low as $7.99 a few times last year.

There was indeed a "rare Xbox games" thread before this one:
http://www.digitpress.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=48637
what about any of those block buster exclusive games?
In discussion of most of the posts:
PDorr3: I would assume MVC2 is just very saught after, thus making it rare because many owners of it are not trading it in.
Bluteg: Air Force Delta Storm was rare, it was pulled off the shelves after 2 or 3 weeks.....I got my sealed copy from Joe (thanks!)....I'm not sure about a reprint though....
norkusa: F1 2001 is indeed hard to find....I've never seen a copy of it....and I only know, not personally, one person that has it.....I also heard Loons was rare, but I can't comment on that....
djbeatmongrel: I have a copy of Volvo: Drive For Life sealed.....it wasn't hard at all to get....I dropped $17 shipped for it on eBay.....$17 is less than a $20 Platinum Hits game.....and the last time I did check there were loads of copies on eBay....I don't know now though....
keiblerfan69: Kakuto Chojin was pulled off the shelves, but I don't feel that it is rare....I got my copy for like $5 and there were a bunch of other copies there with it.....
DrJustinRamone: Didn't they drop down very low prices shortly after release....I don't know about currently, but I believe they were pretty abundant not too long ago.
goatdan: Alien Hominid was not release for XBox in the USA...only PS2 and GCN. Spikeout: Battle Street was easy to get when it first came out and I still see loads of pre-owned copies around....might be regional....
muffinman943: 9 Holes Of Xmas, 9 More Holes Of Xmas, and Red Hot were easy to get and plentiful...I had a couple copies of some of them for a while. Holiday Golf, the Toys 'R Us exclusive version of 9 Holes Of Xmas was however pretty hard to get. Sneakers, also a TRU exclusive, might not be the easiest thing to find either.

Wii: 6005 4631 6751 2174 -- PS3: tholly -- X360: tholly1983
The Worms games for the xbox all took me a while to find. (Forts was the easiest.)
It's so disappointing that they're rather mediocre.
I saw a copy of "Sneakers" at EB the other day, i looked at it trying to remember what someone had said about that game..
And "Gauntlet: Dark Legacy" was difficult to find here. I looked all over town and only EB had a copy. $25 got me a used copy with no manual and a disc of questionable quality.
Which is why i found a copy on Ebay.

Curse: The Eye of Isis is all over the place. Ditto to the Outlaw Golf expansions, etc.Originally Posted by muffinman943
We have three copies of Sneakers in the store. People keep buying them for their kids and returning them because they're supposedly awful games.
Spikeout only seems rare because Gamestop never carried it so any copies in Planet X/Gamestop/Babbage's/Funco Land/Software Etc. at the time would be ones people traded in. It's really not hard to find at all though.
I'd argue that there's no truly rare US XBox games yet, just ones with very high demand at the moment. The only one I'd ever consider hard to get is Fatal Frame, as the copy I own is the only one I've ever seen in person.
Barbie Horse Adventure is all over the place around here too. I think we actually still have some new copies in the drawer.
Steel Battalion, also, almost every Gamestop in this region as AT LEAST one complete used one in very good shape. A couple of them still have new ones. If people are looking for this, Toys R' Us will clearance it for $90 sometimes.
To me, US XBox games that will eventually become rare would be:
Evil Dead: A Fistful of Boomstick
Fatal Frame
Marvel vs. Capcom 2
Metal Slug 3
Otogi 2: Immortal Warriors
Pulse Racer
Samurai Shodown V
Sniper Elite
Most of these you'd have to maybe check more than one store to get now, but they're easy to find once you actually start looking.
Silent Scope Complete banks decently on ebay while it has far fewer copies available at any given time compaired to say "Marvel Vs. Capcom 2". I think its not OMG fucking RARE but definatly hard to find because I've yet see one in the wild.
what about pluse racer man that game sucked
I have to disagree with you there. I know this because I purchased my copy at my local Gamestop.Originally Posted by Neo Rasa
Also, Fatal Frame must be a regional thing because I see it around here from time to time.
From my experiences collecting for Xbox, the game that I have not seen for a long time is Loons. I have just reached 215 games for the Xbox and it really all depends what game store you go to because where I live in Woodbridge Virginia, each game stores seems to have a different personality when it comes to used and new games. Most of the games stated in this thread I have found at pawn shops or GameCrazy.

Really? Like what, A mouse having to eat cheese while.. Dancing to those mario cartoon "Songs"? If so, i can see why.Originally Posted by Neo Rasa
I saw a copy of that game a few months ago.. For $13.. No manual. Glad i didn't buy it. I would have only bought it because of the rarity, keep in mind.
Are you sure it wasn't a used copy? We never had a new SKU for it here.Originally Posted by Griking

When I worked at Babbages, we had a used sku in the computer, and I remember EGM reviewed it. Ive aways wanted to play it, because I love Sega, and quirky japanese titles.
Hasanyone ever seen it?
Welcome to Macintosh.
It never came out here.
At least in this area with Spikeout, I preordered it because I heard it was going to be a beat-em-up, and it would be produced in very limited quantities. While I didn't believe the limited quantities stuff, I love beat-em-ups. So...
The EBGames that I bought it from got one copy -- mine. The manager really wanted the game after seeing it from me, and it took him over a month to find a copy of it. That's the last time I've seen it 'in the wild', but judging by eBay prices, it definitely isn't that rare elsewhere.

What about Tony hawk 2x?
I had a couple of bricks of five each of them in the back of my store at one point, it can't be all that rare. :P
The Xbox version was only released in Europe while the Gamecube version was only released in the US.Originally Posted by UK Collector
There is a limited Eurogamer edition for Alien Hominid. Only 100 copies made for each consol (xbox and ps2), individually numbered 1 to 100 and signed by Tom Fulp (lead programmer) and Dan Paladin (lead artist), enclosed in a special slipcase and comes with a limited edition T-shirt.
If you want this game, go to ShopKo and all stores have crap load of them.Originally Posted by Capybara554321
