Bonus Goodies: How to leave feedback?

The search function seemed to be taking forever, so I apologize if this has been discussed previously.

I'm not a big eBayer yet, but I'm slowly changing my ways (better late than never, right?). Anyway, I just got my first bonus goodies! One of them was even an item I considered buying (but I had to restrain myself at the time)! Ecstatic, I left feedback right away and thanked the seller. But, I wondered afterwards if it's bad manners to mention bonuses. I mean, if a buyer sees that someone else got a free gift, he might expect one too... which wouldn't be fair for the seller. Or, maybe it would be, since he deserves extra sales from the prospect of free stuff.

Anyway, I've heard of free goodies but never pictured myself getting any. If I ever become a seller, I'll be sure to reciprocate this awesome phenomenon! You all should too!

In the past I have received and given some. I think it's fine to mention it in the feedbak, as long as you don't overdo it. What freebie did you get, by the way?
