I don't have a DS, nor would I pick up either game if I did. But if I was forced to, I'd pick up Tetris DS, because the demo of Metroid Hunters was absolutely naff.
I'm going to pick up Tetris on launch, and "wait and see" on Metroid.
Who am I kidding? I'll be picking them both up...
Metroid, but I could understand if someone else who's played FPS's their whole life wouldn't see the appeal of Hunters.
Me, I've played Tetris my whole life, so Tetris on the DS doesn't seem like a big deal.
I'll probably go out and but Tetris, I don't like the Metroid games, so it can sit & spin for all I care

I would pick up Metroid, I think Tetris just wouldn't be as exciting as Metroid.
It's pretty safe to say I won't be picking either up -- i'd just spend my money on something fun i don't have yet, like Super Princess Peach.
What's up with Metroid being a pack-in demo yet taking 18 months to come out? Stupid. And I didn't like the demo much to begin with (and I like Metroid, normally). When I think FPS I don't think, "Ooh, that could use a touch screen!"
Tetris would be the safe choice but I'm dying to try out Hunters.
Nintendo has some major titles being released this month, I definitely want them all. But if I had to pick, Tetris DS
10 player wi-fi with 8-bit backgrounds? I am so there.

It's a trick question, actually. Outrun Coast 2 Coast is due out 3/21. ;-)
But of those two, I think I'll be getting Metroid first.
Vodka and a used Genesis game.

Tetris. Maybe Metroid in a few years. I still don't think FPS games have a place on a handheld at this time. Give the DS and PSP two REAL sticks and we'll talk.
I'll stick with Metroid Prime Pinball for now. It's actually playable.
Lost Magic
Zelda is NOT an RPG.
Oh hells yeah, I'm preordering that. BTW, I read an article that said WiFi is for battles only. I was kinda hoping for a co-op situation. Will we ever see MMORPGS on the DS, or at least something close?Originally Posted by Leroy

Battles only? Damnation. I'm still getting it.. but, bummer.Originally Posted by Chrome
Children of Mana is not Wi-Fi either.
Man, if Sega made Shining Soul III for Wi-Fi.. hell, I'd be in big trouble if they made any kind of dungeon hack and slash game over Wi-Fi.. big trouble.
Zelda is NOT an RPG.
Agreed. I've been secretly hoping for a portable version of Phantasy Star Online for DS. C'mon, please?Originally Posted by Leroy
I'm going with Tetris. It seems to be the stuff dreams are made of. I haven't cared for the 3D metroids At All. The control scheme of the DS seems promising, so maybe one day.
The Nintendo rep put in demos for both, I can tell you right now to go for Metroid. The fact that the demo that shipped with early DS units was thrown together from scratch two weeks before E3 has never been more clear.
I would choose Metroid and then ask my sons mother to buy me Tetris because the 20th is my birthday.
I chose C, Oblivion.
I would go for Tetris DS over Metroid Prime Hunters. But that is just me. Tetris DS is going to last you a lot longer, and be more bang for your buck.
I also had so-so feelings about the Metroid Prime Hunters demo.
