Black Wavebird
Whos with me!?!? I would really like to see them produce a black wavebird. Some people dont want plain color or exciting silver but want black to match... I asked the guy at gamezone who gets alot of japan import games/acces. about it and he said they might have made one there and hes gonna look and see... Hopefully yea if not i might have to custom one up.. Speaking of custom controllers anyone got any pics of some custom work done ?

My GOD, Nez. You don't know what you are missing! My WaveBird is still STILL on the original batteries that came with it. It lasts FOREVER and you don't know how AWESOME it is not to have to worry about wires.
I wouldn't mind a black one to go with my Jet Cube. But yeah, at this point I doubt it'd come to pass as the system is dead until Odama then dead until Zelda then dead again. Probably the only two Cube games I'll be getting in the next year sadly.

Nez makes me sad.What if I had decided to not get a PS2? I'd miss out on all the really good games I have now. I play my PS2 more than my Xbox. What if I had decided not to give the PSP a shot? I'd miss out on the god-like presence that is Lumines as well as all the emulation I've been playing. I could easily say "Nope, not even going to give it a chance because I'm an ignoramus and don't like new things." And I mean that in the nicest way possible. Give it a try! If you have a Cube and DON'T have a WaveBird... humanity has failed.
Main reason I don't want it is becouse most of my other systems have no first party wireless option. I don't want that to bother me when I'm playing my NEO or my SNES. i'd rather not get used to it, and have it bother me when I'm playing some older systems.

The Logitech wireless controllers for the PS2 and Xbox are superior to their first party wired cousins in every possible way. Again, I'm talking about Logitech, not Madcatz or whatever crap people normally associate with "third party". The only time I've used wired controllers in the past three years is with joysticks (HRAP and DOA4 360 stick)...and that's because I have no choice.

Pretty soon you won't have a choice, I don't think the Revolution or PS3 will even allow wired controllers. May as well embrace it now.

More wireless gaming for Wind Waker, and Fire Emblem sounds good to me. Well, and the obvious Gems Collection. Still gotta beat Prime 2 as well.

Harrumph. I'll risk pulling my 'cube off its unsteady perch (my old PlayStation, itself sitting on an old cardboard box which my first Windows PC's keyboard came in) and smashing the edge of the GB Player against the concrete - which has already happened. :P
Wavebird has a longer battery life because the power switch spends most of it's time in the "off" position.

But keep in mind that the Revolution has GC control ports, so maybe these wavebirds would be worth picking up for all those saying not to. I don't know if they will fit nice or look good, but the fact that the Revolution is of such a particular size and on a dock, wires might cause issues.
