    Default SNES - loose carts?

I put a cart into a SNES, it loads up, but if you jiggle the cart the SNES resets, sort of. Actually just goes to a black screen. I have two SNES and they both do this. Has the SNES always been like this? I don't remember them doing that.

Raz: Yes, I have... that shooting things is fun and useful!

Does it happen with all the games or just a certain one?
Ive had a similar problem a few years back but that was with one game.

CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN... clean the connectors on the cartridges and the connector socket in the SNES.

Cleaning will help, but honestly, it is not designed to allow you to wiggle it while playing.

PCB in the cartridge could also be loose, but make sure everything is clean before moving on to heavier diagnostics.
