Default NES Quickshot controllers analogue (Arkanoid compatible)?

Will either of these two replicate the functionality of the Arkanoid Vaus controller? I got that game today and it stinks with the standard controller, but I don't want to shell out $40 or whatever to play it.

I don't think so, as those two controllers are not analog. Either way, I will try them out with Arkanoid next weekend when I'm done with my exams and let you know the verdict.
I'm always looking for new boxed NES accessories. If you've got any for sale, shoot me a PM!

Well those controllers are interesting-looking. What are they? I have a vague memory of seeing them before...

The Quickshot with the giant bulb works like an oversized d-pad you manipulate with your entire hand while palming it. For those of you who like to incorporate simulations of playing with robo titties into your video games it's numero uno. For playing Arkanoid, I'd say not.

Thanks, it looked like it spun to me, like some sort of thumb dial.

Looks like I won't be getting the trackball either. Oh well.
