And yes 6-pad Genesis controller is much better than the original.
Oh, and I also like the Jaguar controller, it's amazingly comfortable.

The top original controller will always be the SNES one.
It fits perfectly in my hands, and no one can beat me on Street Fighter if my 11-year-old controller is with me. It already has the format of my hands!!!

The standard XBox controller is my favorite out of the newer systems.
It just feels right..It looks expensive..
I like the Neo Geo game pad..and the Suncom Tac-2 joystick fot the Atari 2600..
I always liked the Colecovision Super Action controllers.
They are unique..
I like the Gamecube controller, regular and wavebird, the best. Its just the most comfortable controller I have ever used. SNES comes in second place, which is still very well designed.
I know I am in the minority, but I love the wishbone Nes controller. No rumble, just two buttons and a control pad. Let me just say that I have been so mad at that controller, I am impressed that it is still alive. For classic gaming at least, this is the superior neo-classic controller. I think some of the newer controllers have gone to far to add buttons and features........sometimes simplistic just does fine!
Xbox Controller S by far for me. After that Dreamcast. Both have the great analog shoulder triggers which are really useful for racing games. Much easier to do half throttle on the triggers than a analog button on the ps2.
I picked the SNES controller, so great a design that Nintendo brings it back for use with the GBA Player. Such a beautiful piece of work...
I gotta go TG-16 here. I just love that, plus it's the only system I can think of whose first party controllers had turbo function built in. With all the shmups, it works great!
