what kind of DBZ game is it? a versus fighter, adventure, or a side-scrolling beat 'em up?

i wouldn't mind a snes copier if i knew how those worked.

DBZ is a cool 'versus-fighter' with Story mode, versus mode, free-challenge mode etc.. not to familiar w/ Dragonball games so I don't know the full title or if there is a comparable US game..
