This really isn't from the start of April, but from 2 weeks ago I picked up 2 noable games at a very cheap price. I got Mega Man X3 for $20, and Tales of Destiny II complete in mint condition for $30.
Wings of Wor, Troubleshooters, and BioHazard Battle for Genesis $10 and alot of shumping to do.
Resident Evil, Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex, and an orange GC controller. All for GC all for $20 from some kid at work who just got an XBOX. Fair deal, I named the price. I'm most happy with the orange controller.
You mean one of these?Originally Posted by AB Positive
Of course it's not going to look like that, I've upgraded all the microswitches and replaced the main buttons with competition buttons from Happ Controls, Super Famicom colors. Anyway, I just sold mine (well, it's pending) in my Buying and Selling thread for $60. Of all the real components arcade sticks I've ever owned it's my favorite. Nice solid construction, still lightweight (yeah it's plastic but the underside of the top is a metal plate), and nicely responsive - razor sharp responsive if you upgrade the switches. (ones inside should be Cherry)
I've heard the electric Honda pocket bikes are junk, battery and motor problems within the first couple WEEKS of usage. The Razor PR200's seem to be the nicest of the electric models, they were bombing them out at Wal-Mart for $88 last March (2005) - found a stray pallet of them or something. Anyway, for that price I grabbed one (my uncle did as well) and I lucked out on getting the older revision without the "hold down" safety switch on the right grip, faster too. It's been hauling my fatass around problem free since.Originally Posted by Videogamerdaryll

That and I'm not insured anymore so my girlfriend didn't want me screwing around on them anymore. The electric one is a decent medium for the time being.

I actually went thrifting today...first time in nearly a month. My family had some extra bookmans credit they didn't want which is why I headed out, but they had nothing I wanted. I checked out a nearby thrift though and found:
SMS - Golvelius (complete)
SMS - Phantasy Star (complete)
99 cents each. Marked down from 1.98...../shrugs shoulders.
Probably resell. I've been wanting to pick up Dragon Quest VIII at work...it dropped to 39.99 and is 33 bucks my cost. They guide is like 8 bucks with discount, so sound like a winning deal.
Does the cart say Player's Choice on it?Originally Posted by DigitalSpace

There was an article in OPS2M about Silent Hill, so I thought I'd go to my local game shop and see if they still had the used Silent Hill 2 that's been there for months and months. They did, so I got it for £5.
They had a used Nintendo DS for £60 which tempted me, but it doesn't come with the box. For some reason I don't feel right buying consoles without boxes. I'm still tempted, though. They said it comes with a brand new charger for that price.
I also picked up The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Passenger 57 for £7 each but buy one get one free, so £3.50 each.
