Do you own any games or controllers but not the system?

I have a bunch of games with no system. The one that gets me is that I can't find a SNES. I gave one to a friend and thought I could just pick one up anywhere, but I can't find one.

I think its easy to own a bunch of games and not the system. Because a console is usually not as rare as a single game might be. I own about 6 xbox games, 5 of them being Sega developed. This is my only reason to buy an xbox, is to play sega exclusives that I couldn't play on another system.

So I am waiting for xbox's to drop to rock bottom prices and then I will snatch up one to play a handfull of titles.

I have Cubivore for the Cube, Stretch Panic and Ico for the PS2, and a few Blockbuster games and that crap fighting game that was pulled for the X-Box. I don't have any of those systems. For sale or trade cheap.

I have Vectorman and Ecco for the Genny but no Genny.

I have Space Shuttle, Pac-Man, Tetris 2 and Battle Tank for the NES, but no NES. I figure that I'll get one eventually. I also have an X-Modem for the Genesis and no Genesis.

Not a biggie - but I have an s-video cord to a Cube but no Cube anymore.

I also have a bunch of homebrew discs for a Dreamcast but no Dreamcast.

Finally, the highlight of my moot collection - a European PS2 but no power converter to use it in the US. A friend of mine was given it because the owner couldn't get it to work on his US TV. I plan on eventually mod-chipping it, but that's pointless until I can afford a power converter!

I have a Neo Geo CD game thinking that I was going to get the system, but I doubt that now as I have 2 AES systems and 3 MVS boards (1 slot, 2 slot, 4 slot) and 2 cabs and 3 superguns to play them on. I don't even know where the Neo Geo CD game is anymore although I'm sure its just around. I also had a ton of Famicom games and Atari 2600 games with no systems as they broke but I still kept the games. Although recently I got the Neo Fami that plays Famicom games (4 Neo Fami systems total and a Generation NEX) and a 2600 from an online store so I now have the systems again to play my games on.

I own about 20 Sega Genesis titles but no system to play them on. I don't have anything outstanding (except maybe Shadowrun) so I just haven't felt the need to grab a system yet.

I've got a PAL (German) version of Smurfs for SNES. Thought it would work with a converter (it doesn't)
Also, Championship Kendo for MarkIII. I'd like to get one of those eventually, but had to go out of my way to find the game

I have no Lynx, but I've got Xybots for the Lynx, just because I like the game so much on MAME.

I've had a purple N64 controller that I've used with an adaptoid, but no N64 system. (Actually, I'm expecting one this week.)

I had an SNES controller for three years before I got an SNES.

I have a Colecovision multicart thing (VecFlash with Colecovision interface) and I have no ColecoVision.

Damn! I own 2 3DO ,2 Playstation ,and 2 Jaguar control pads without systems to attach them too.

I have some GameGear games but no GG....
Oh yeah...I also have an XBox game or 2 for the future.

I plan on buying a 360 controller even though I don't have a 360, or plan on getting one anytime soon. I'm gonna use the controller for my Mac.

I had an Intellivision game at one point, but it made its way out of my collection after a while. I had a shitload of 360 stuff before I had the system (but it hadn't launched at that point anyway). I can't say I have anything like this anymore, though.

However, I do have a CD32 without any games. Or controllers. Or hookups...or much else of value.

Mario's Super Picross for the Super Famicom (one of the best games I've ever played, no longer have the converter)
Mortal Kombat II and Daytona USA for the Sega Saturn (YOU try selling off disc-only copies of these games)
MLB for the Intellivision (good luck selling this too)
Batman & Robin for the Game.com (ditto)

Got a Wico "The Boss" controller but no 2600. Thought about grabbin' a Flashback 2 to remedy that. Doing the cart slot mod and all. Just need the time... damn you Chronos!

Also have some Xbox games but no Xbox or 360. Panzer Dragoon Orta, JSRF/Sega GT and both the Outlaw Golf 9 holes of Xmas BB exclusive games. Still need to grab House of the Dead 3, Ninja Gaiden Black and the Otagi games... maybe Project Gotham for Geometry Wars if I don't get a 360 soon.

For the longest time I had a Konami Justifier Blue light gun for Sega Genesis but no game that used it. Wanted Snatcher... got Lethal Enforcers 2 on SegaCD. Screwed by fate again
