Default Quick Perfect Dark Zero question.

I just picked up Perfect Dark Zero yesterday and compared to other shooters it feels.....broken.....for lack of a better term.

On easy it's taking about 10 point blank shots to get someone down with the stock pistol because the aim tracking feels "laggy".

My question to those of you that have gotten used to this game is this. Should I leave the sensitivity at the default 50 and learn to adjust...or should I in fact crank the sensitivity to 100? I find it hard to believe that Rare would release a shit final coding Of Perfect Dark, so I figure that it must just be me, especially after the tight control of Kameo.

You can pretty much turn the sensitivity and all the other settings to whatever you want and it'll still feel broken. You may as well just leave it at standard and get as used to it as you can.

Such a shame, all they had to do was give Bungie a call and ask them how to make the controls not suck.

I've never had a problem with PDZ's controls. Ever. As such, I'm really baffled as to what the fuss is about. I've found that aiming in PDZ is more about precision than anything else. The importance of headshots is HUGE, and the varying effectiveness of different weapons is also accentuated (read: the main pistol just plain sucks).

I don't see what's not to like in this game, but unfortunately I seem to be in the minority on that.

Yeah I can't stand that it takes that many shots to kill someone. I still can't believe that Gamespot gave it a 9.0.

That's my point precisely, pacmanhat. I feel that there's GOTTA be a good game in there somewhere, which, even after all the negative stuff I've read about it, is why I bought it. I'm a longtime fan of Rare.

I know that I'm not used to it yet, I'm only starting mission #3...but I know that there are people out there that love this game and I was wondering about suggestions concerning the aim sensitivity levels.

I got too used to the way PDZ controls. So much that I had to turn the sensitivity way down in FCI: Predator
