Hardest Mario Game to complete?

AFAIK, only pirate versions were released on cart for the FC.

Well, the hardest ones were probably:
Super Mario Allstars (the one with Mario World)
Hell, five games in it.
The hardest one out've it was Lost Levels, and next to that the original.

I completed Mario World, Super Mario 2, and Super Mario 3, but never could beat the original or Lost Levels (Japan's Super Mario 2)

Im another person here that never beat a Mario game ever.

I did come close in SMB2 once.

These days I dont have the attention span to play any of those games through.

Who knows, maybe one day I will give it a try.

Yeah, me too. I'm just waiting for a rainy day. SMB3 and SM64 were the only ones that I really really got into. I think I just got tired of 64, and SMB3 there was one part I always had trouble getting past (is there a hell world or something?) I never liked SMB2, Super Mario World, or Sunshine.

I'm just now getting into Yoshi's Island, this might be the one I actually finish!

Well, that'd be one way of putting it. World 8 (last world) is basically a bunch of levels that have tanks, bombs, and a lot of firepower. By calling the world "hell", I'm not exactly sure if your referring to the fact that the world actually looks like what hell is actually depicted to be, or if your calling it "hell' because the world is so freaking hard.

I think Paper Mario:TTYD is very easy until you get to the last boss. I still haven't beat her yet. I've completed most of the other Mario titles, including Hotel Mario and Mario RPG.

Super Mario 64 for me (never did finish it). I have a very hard time controlling (early) 3D games. :/

probably that cdi mario game, since its so horrid youd probably get a stroke before finishing it.

LL/SMB2J hands down. I'm on level 8-2 in the GBC version, and it takes extreme luck and perserverence to get through any level past World 5.
