Default Your Favorite Video Game Soundtrack?

What is your favorite soundtrack in a game?

I would have to say Jet Grind Radio. I downloaded like half of the songs in the game, and it is one of my favorite games of all time. Hey, im listening to 'bout the city now! Anyway, favorite soundtrack?
Somebody once told me to get a life.

I told them I sold it for money to buy video games.

I've always been a fan of videogame music. As a kid, I remember rocking out to the tunes in Atari 2600 Reactor, Wizard of Wor and even Journey Escape. Yes, my tastes are rather bizarre.

May favorite would have to be a Castlevania soundtrack... but choosing which game is difficult. It's probably a toss-up between Symphony of the Night and Super Castlevania IV, although Castlevania III's also blew me away. Who knew such complicated arrangements were possible on an 8-bit machine?

I also think rather highly of the music in Super Metroid and SNES Gradius III. The soundtrack for Space Megaforce has a high "catchiness" factor.

I also recall being quite impressed by the PC speaker(!) soundtrack to King's Quest IV: The Perils of Rosella. I played it on a Tandy 1000 that has a built-in speaker capable of two-channel sound.

My Chrono Cross and Chrono Trigger cd sets just came in the mail, so I'm pretty fond of them right now. I also like The Secret of Mana quite a bit, too. But there are a lot, so my favorites change every few months.

Almost forgot, PC's Baldur's Gate is also a long time favorite.

I dig on the FFVI OST, Space Channel 5, and I don't know if this counts, but Mad Maestro has the fly classical tracks, althought I don't own (or even know if there exists) an OST for this.
