    Default yellowish of consoles

Someone before said to me that there is a special liquid that removes yellowish of computers and this liquid can be used in video game consoles but don't know the name of liquid and where I can found it, plz, for places, give me any online store that sell internationally because i'm in brazil

Another effective methods are welcome if you have any, I already used an liquid that turns hair to blonde (I don't know the name of this liquid in US), it was partially effective because after some time, the yellowish returns

Weird - I was just about to search the forums for a thread on how to clean a yellowed Super NES.

The bottom half of my Super NES has yellowed, the top half has not. It's never been in a smoking household, but even if it was it should've yellowed evenly. I looked into it and I guess it's because nintendo used two different types of plastics.

I'd also be interested in how to solve this, if possible.

There's at least 5 topics on this already. Please do a search.

As for SNESs, they can not be cleaned. It is a chemical oxidization of the plastic and goes al the way through. It is due to being exposed to the oxygen in the air. It is not due to cigarettes or sunlight, though some plastics can have this yellowing effect intensified by heat and/or UV, there is no evidence that SNESs have been further yellowed by this, and it is too late to do any experiments, as all "yellowable" SNESs have already turned. Plenty of folks have reported never having never let their SNES see anything other than the glow of their TV and they were non-smokers. On top of this, new-in-box, factory-sealed SNESs have been reported opened years later for the first time and were yellow, never having seen any kind of light since the factory.

So, while some plastics of other electronic items may indeed have just a film on them, SNESs are not cleanable in any way. Your best bet is to buy SNESs that have not yellowed, or if you have one with a yellow top and one with a yellow bottom, switch the cases up.

But, as I said, their is some very good threads on this already, but I'm too lazy to search for them.

My Snes was super yellow and I got most of it completely off with "Fantastic"

It is a tile cleaner used for counter-tops and misc stuff

Works nice and makes your consoles smell nice

I'm not talking about yellowish of snes consoles, I'm in general, there are many white video games consoles, I only need the name and where I can found the liquid that removes yellowish from computers and video games consoles, this is the only effective way to remove it that I know

Funny, there are many posts about this problem without any effective solution, so, the discussion still not over

The liquid called "fantastic", ok, where I can found it? Wrote only the name of liquid will not help so much and more posts about it will appear again here

    Thanks
