Restoring Original asteroids machine

Ok I want to restore this machine first because it needs the least amount done to it.

I looked online for the side art and it looks like it covers the entire side of the cab.

Should I try and peel the old art off or just repair the damage and sand the side smooth and put the new one over it?


Also for the cp , as you can see someone tried to paint it up . There are 2 options for fixing it. 1 is a complete skin for the entire piece of metal the other you have to pre paint the black then put on the sticker.

What is the best to do for value?

After I finish restoring the game I hope to sell it or trade it so I can get a KI or KI 2 machine.

I might have to leave the credit button just to avoid having to repaint that area. I don't want the paint to not match or anything. If it stays it will be either red or white so that it matches.
