If they made a movie out of your top five worst sins, what would it be rated?

Speaking of Pong...
My uncle gave me a box he picked up for $3 at a flea market. It contained an Atari Super Pong, an Atari VCS - CX2600A, power adapter for the VCS, pair of "orange ring" joysticks, and an orange NES Zapper.
The picture was taken after clean up, except for Super Pong as it's still being worked on.
The joysticks are severely worn but I got them working well enough. The problem wasn't with the little metal tab switches so much as it was the traces being worn off the circuit boards from usage. The VCS works fine, as does the Zapper after the usual disassembly and reassembly. Super Pong looked pretty good from the outside, no corrosion in the battery compartment, knobs and switches seem to work fine. However all it displays is a blank screen, no audio from the speaker, no nothing. I set up a thread in Technical and Restoration earlier before I really had a hard look at it. Now that I've spent some time going over the system I'd say that it got banged up pretty good internally at one point and someone tried to fix it. Looks to be missing a part, the left potentiometer is cracked (but the leads aren't broken) as someone attempted to open the unit with force, and so on.
Oh well, $3 for the box is great and it's a good "parts" Super Pong if anything.
We went to the annual High School yard sale at the gymnasium on Saturday and I got a complete CBS colecovision for $3.00! Also found a third party Gameboy carrier with 28 Game boy manuals in it for 50 cents. All the proceeds went to the school so I gave the lady 5 bucks.
What a charitable guy I am.
Got some sweet stuff today:
Godzilla 2 (NES)
Solitaire (NES)
Great Volleyball (SMS)
Those games put me at 6 games to go for a complete NES collection, and 9 games to go for a complete SMS collection.
I couldn't find Goemon's Great Adventure (N64) anywhere. Then I saw euronymous selling it for $10!! So I jumped on that like a wild animal would pounce on it's prey!! Thanks again, man.

Anyway, in other finds, Today i went into KMart to find Rampage: Total Destruction for Gamecube, walked out with Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door:
Price, $20! Prices are going down on some Nintendo games, I also saw Warioware: Twisted in the bargain bin - $20. I wanted to buy it too, But i thought i should buy a GBASP first, So that remained there.
I also saw a boxed Super Nintendo with a couple games, But it was too expensive - $50? I said i could buy a gamecube for that price, But she wouldn't budge on the price, I said how about selling it without the games, I'll pay $30, She said no.
Thanks, ebay. (sarcasam)
Anyway, How do you think i did on the arcade machine?
Wow, I actually like Rally X!
I got 3 games, not the most expensive, but they are fun, for the SNES:
Doom
Goof Troop
Terminator 2
Total Price...(Dun Dun Duuuuun)
Free. I was gonna ask him about his SNES, hookups, 4 controllers, and Mario World, but I decided against it.

When I found a copy at Best Buy, there were only 2 before I snagged one WTF?
I consider myself lucky.

Absolutely beautiful, Slate. Rally-X is one of my favorite arcade games but it seems to be a backwater for a lot of people. :/ Never seen one go for within $200 of what you paid though, especially given the condition and documentation.Originally Posted by Slate
$20 for a Rally X arcade machine?! Dude, talk about a steal. I thought most arcade machines would run over the $300 mark.Originally Posted by Slate
Freakin' awesome, man! Rally X is a fun game.

I just picked up two Sega Genesis brand extension cables for Sega controllers. I plan on using them for my Commodore 64, Atari 2600, CD32 and of course Genesis systems!
I snagged a brand new, factory sealed copy of Tales of Destiny 2 for PS2 today. Got it for $8. Since no one would believe this story alone, here are the pics:
Tales of Destiny II Front
Tales of Destiny II Seal
i have no idea how to make the pics smaller. that is the lowest choice of resolution available on my camera. so, everyone will just have to enjoy the clickable links.
I figure I may as well talk about it now...
Started this past weekend off right by getting DDR Mario Mix (everything but the oversized box) for $40. I'm keeping it until circumstances demand otherwise... it's not a bad game at all.
Another interesting discovery over the weekend came from my grandmother... while she and my mom were out looking for Genesis power cords (I asked them to seek them out so I can sell the extra systems I have to a few friends), they found a NIB set of Dreamcast wireless controllers. These are 3rd party controllers made by Doc's, and they're not half bad in that they actually work.
Just for shits and giggles, I wrote up a mini-review and checked ebay to see how much one could expect to pay for them in the event that I couldn't get any more, and the ONE set sold in the last 3 months brought in over $100!
I have the other sets waiting on me to pick up; one will be sold to benefit the choir at my grandmother's church, and the other two sets will be made available for trade.
