    Default looking for MVS carts

Sorry I know Ive posted too many threads regarding MVS carts lately...
But I cant find an old thread where someone gave me a link to an awsome site that sells MVS carts for super cheap.

Can anyone give me a link to a good sit to buy MVS games?
Or perhaps point me in the direction of an old thread I cant seem to find?

I think several DPers have purchased MVS carts from here.

    I haven't myself, but I'm very tempted.

I've bought from there. Clean it good, and expect a 2 week period after payment is received. But his selection is cheap. Boots and originals. patience is a virtue that I don't have. It seemed way too long to get it to me in turn of my fast payment.

I went ahead and bought Blazing Star from him.
So I should expect to wait what...2-3 weeks then?

I dont know why I put off getting a replacement cart for my MVS.
Samurai Showdown 2 suddenly stopped working.
RIP. Im just assuming it died of old age/use since it was in the same cab for quite a few years at an arcade then in some guys game room.

Oh yeah. Does anybody have a Blazing Star mini Marquee they would sell or trade me?

Yaton ships on time. Blame Canada Post and Canada Cutoms. I get stuff from him and I don't wait more than a week to get it and he's from the other side of the country.

The guy's honest that's true. Your S Showdown II cart? Clean it good with a gray eraser and 91% isopropyl alcohol (buy it at a drug store 2 bucks) 99% is what is best but something close by, go to your phamacy.
When you get Blazing star, clean it good it won't work right out of the box promise. Yanton says that too. I bought MAgical Drop 2 and I had to clean it several times before it worked. Good luck man!

Awww poop. I got my hopes way up there, but never mentioned why the cart "died"...

I left my ex and his friend alone in my room of doom because they wanted to play the MVS.
I asked nicely if they would turn it off after they were done playing. They did not.

I came back after around 20-30 minutes and they had left with it on, and SS2s graphics were garbeled and frozen! I almost cried....well I may have, I cant remember...

I turned it off, and tried it out a few minutes later and all I got was the lovely test grid.

So....is my cart dead or is there hope?

I've never heard of an mvs cart just dying. Leaving it on for 20-30 minutes shouldn't make a difference. Most arcades leave games on for like 16 hours a day or so. Its probably just dirty, or maybe its the cart slot on the motherboard that needs cleaning. Try squeezing the cart slot with your thumb and index, clean the game and reinsert it.

If you can't get it working, sell it to me for cheap and I'll get it working.

BTW, your going to have fun with blazing star. Awsome shmup

Keep working on that cart. Eventually it will work again. Blazing Star sounds cool. Might get it myself!

You should definitly check the voltage on the Power Supply.

Another thing that can be an issue if the board is a single slot where the cart rests on its side [all except the 1-C] the screws holding the black plastic sleve the cart fits into can become loose and cause the cart slot itself to move and not make a complete connection.

That will yield any number of odd screens that will generally change when the cart is moved around a bit, so its easy to diagnose. You might try and pull the cart out just a tiny bit after inserting it ,also look for bent pins in the cart slot itself.

Still I would bet youre voltage out of the PS is low which will make the board very unstable and geek out after being powered up for a bit.
