Well I really love Wipeout Pure and Lumines, Syphon Filter is great too.

I'm playing through Daxter right now and it's also alot quite a bit of fun.

    Ridge Racer.

Best portable racer EVER. I'm sure I'm in the minority here, but no game has come close to being as fun. The fact that it's a launch title says a lot about the quality of PSP games in the past year.

    Lumines is #1.

Mega Man: Powered Up is a very, very close #2.

If you don't own those two, you're missing out.

The upcoming Gradius collection will easily be #3, so there you go.

Daxter and Lumines, followed by Wipeout Pure.

GTA is fun and I love it, but I prefer playing a game like that on my PS2.

I was an early owner of a PSP but got rid of it purely because the arthritis in my hands made it difficult to use the thumb stick for long periods of time. Decades of mountain biking in bad weather will do that to you.

I'm pleased to see that the PSP library has come along nicely. I still check it when ever I'm at the local shop. Lumines ruled back then and probably still does. An amazing "hip" game of sight and sound brought together. I still love that first song.

Lumines and Ridge Racer are the tops IMO.

Burnout Legends, GTA, Virtua Tennis, and Hot Shots Golf aren't bad either. I haven't really tried too much of the new stuff yet though.
RIP bargora, you will be greatly missed. That is how we do things on Giedion Prime.

People are forgetting the awesome quirkyness of Me & My Katamari! That said, Lumines and Metal Gear Ac!d should be on the list as well.
Because it makes no attempt to be great, it is therefore extremely great.

I got my PSP on day one, I have a lot of titles for it.

Best so far, both technically and game play wise? Syphon Filter. Why?

(sorry I don't know if Matt has this up on DP yet.)

Daxter, is also quote good, and a very satisfying platformer.

Of the launch list I would have to go with Wipeout Pure. Even without the gigantic amount of downloadable content, it was head and shoulders above the rest at launch.

And you just can't talk about the PSP without mentioning Lumines.

I could mention others, but others have. And those really peak above the rest.

I like Burnout: Legends, Lumines, Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror, Daxter, Wipeout Pure, Ridge Racer and Ape Escape: On the Loose but it's really hard to say which of my 50+ PSP games I reallly enjoyed....as I like each in it's own unique way

Oh my god, I hate Ridge Racer. I got it around release, and I was about to trade it off (which I almost never do for personal collection items), I hated it so much. It's total crap.

GTA Liberty City Stories is by far the best game for the system, based on use of the technology and avoidance of load times. Like most games for the system, it is not unique and basically a portable PS2 game. Lumines is a great unique title. Otherwise, it's console rips everywhere. I like the system, but the games just haven't risen.

    Actually I'm not.

    My Top 5 (in order):
    Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror
Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories
    Burnout: Legends
    Lumines
Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade

GTA was the game that put the PSP bug into my head, but I'm enjoying Syphon Filter even more I think.
