Wow $500 ? Ive seen the european version some times, but it never hits close to $500.
I actually purchased my personal copy on eBay a couple years ago for $18 shipped (not a BIN either, and 7 day auction). I lucked out because the FFF pad was listed in the Toys section. And the FFF set was relatively uknown then. But it has been building some steam of late with its association to Stadium Events. For some reason the FFF pad really intrigues and has since I started collecting.
I can tell you that his FFF Athletic World is missing the black sticker dot at the top flap that "sealed" the game. I've been through 3 NTSC copies (all boxed) and they've all had it. When I inquired about this a couple years, this practice of placing the black sticker at the top was relegated mostly to European PAL NES games. So it is strange indeed that an official NTSC NES game had it.
And since I'm fascinated by all things FFF, I picked up an original media press kit by Bandai featuring the Family Fun Fitness Pad off of eBay this year. Really interesting. If anyone is interested I can send or post pics.
