So who can i expect to see at the MGC?
The Midwest Gaming Classic is now just over a week away and i've finally secured my freedom from work so i can make the trip. Should be a lot of fun and i know Fox, Kamino, S1lence and GoatDan will be there but i'm curious to know, who else is going to the MGC?

I'm pretty close, so I might show up if I'm in the mood for gaming. I've been on an extended sabbatical from gaming for a couple of months now due to other things getting in the way, and my interest has really taken a dive recently. I'm on the "maybe" list for now.

I've said this to a couple people, but it's really the truth...
In 2004 at this point, I wasn't at all excited about the show. The stress of putting it together and attempting to appease everyone involved (and ending up appeasing no one, I think a lot of people on these boards know what I mean when I say that...) made it so that the lead up to the show was straight stress, and the Sheraton did absolutely nothing to help at all. If anything, they did things that just added a LOT more too it.
This year is totally different. The show is so much more already -- I can confirm over 100 arcade and pinball machines will be in attendance on freeplay, there are tons of vendors, tons of new stuff is happening, and there will be a lot of people I can meet for the first time or the many time.
The only thing I regret is that Kamino now knows where I live... Just kidding Kamino!
Thanks to everyone for coming and supporting us through all the strange happenings over the years. 2006 is going to be a year where I definitely feel that the show is what it should be, and I'm super excited to go! Make sure to stop by and say hi to me. I'll be the guy with the big grin on his face, probably playing Space Shuttle pinball all day long (even though I may purchase it right away).
