buyatari: I think someone offered him a crapload for EB just now, and it might be valid. I offered 700, and that is because I am crazy =D

DreamTR: I didnt say it WAS worth over $2000, i just assumed so, since i know alot of people have discussed around this proto for a long time. Therefor i thought $2000 seemed alittle cheap for a so known and sought after proto. My comment wasnt directly a advice for him to raise the price, again, i just assumed it would be worth more, but it was just a guess. I dont know that much about the marked value for protos. Your right, it is already dumped and the value drops because of this, but its still Earthbound
I see now that someone offered $2200 and Jollerancher accepted it. Then i was right that the BIN would be hit within 24 hours. Too much for me, but i bet Jollerancher is happy
EDIT: Did you buy it DreamTR? Hence the edit comment you added to the post.
Hey you were right. That has a record for a dumped proto. Good job !I see now that someone offered $2200 and Jollerancher accepted it. Then i was right that the BIN would be hit within 24 hours. Too much for me, but i bet Jollerancher is happy
Jajaja: heck no, I would not pay 2200 for a dumped proto...but congrats to him =)
I'm VERY surprised someone paid that high for it, but kudos to jollerancher.
jajaja: If someone buys that Zelda for that price, then you were right on these prices, and there are more lunatics with money willing to overpay than I thought.
Hehe ye, there are big fans out there. Im suprised that you only got offered $1000 for a Zelda 1 proto. It wouldnt suprise me if you manage to sell it for$1500 - $2000 today, since there are tons of Zelda fans out there and some of them are bound to have alot of money.
Jason,
Now may be the time to sell that Zelda 1 proto while there might be substantial hype.

Holy crap! I'm left speechless... well, not really... too rich for my blood. DreamTR's $700 seemed a bit high to me, $500-600 would have been about right, methinks.Originally Posted by Buyatari
I saw the listing before it was upped to $3000, and I would have happily paid $2000 for it (though not $3000...) had I had the money, which is always the key issue here. Too many crazy collectors (myself included) only have the ridiculous amounts of money they're willing to spend on stuff some or none of the time, not all of the time.
Feedback thread here
I just want to know where all these crazy collectors are when I want sell dumped unreleased games. Last time I tired to sell my Sonic Crackers I was offered $50.00 !!
Holy crap! $2200 for Earthbound! I can't believe that. Has that guy paid for it? Does anyone recongize the name? I would have offered more than $700 but that's because it's the last earthbound that I need ($850 would have been my limit). But there is no way I'd pay over $1000 for a dumped game. And I have an earthbound obsession right now. Congrats!
Guess I really should devote more time to my Mother3 disks. The $10,000 I was offered may not be as unrealistic as I thought at the time. I thought it was a joke.
When are you planning on putting the Campus Challenge cart up for sale? I'm interested but need time to liquidate a few things. I don't keep that kind of money on me to spend on games. I'd much appreciate it if you could give me a little notice. I may put in a serious bid.
Yep. Anyluck with that SCSI cable? How's the progress?Guess I really should devote more time to my Mother3 disks. The $10,000 I was offered may not be as unrealistic as I thought at the time. I thought it was a joke.
Dude, I woulda totally gave you $51 for that.I just want to know where all these crazy collectors are when I want sell dumped unreleased games. Last time I tired to sell my Sonic Crackers I was offered $50.00 !!
Whoever the EB proto winner is, I hope someone takes the initiative to get a hold of him and help him dump his cart.

Yeah, I should put Zelda I up there. That should get a good look.
AS a PS: My Zelda I has a label, that Zelda III does not, and he is getting crazy offers. Same with the EB. 2200 for an EB with no label? !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Noodles for a year...
Do you think it was worth 1.2k, or was I just crazy?
Just had an idea. The next cheap listing day I'll put my Earthbound SNES review cart up for sale. Maybe I can get just as lucky and sell it to the same guy for twice what it should be worth. Maybe I'll try for $1000 haha.
But the Zelda III has a label?Originally Posted by DreamTR
Wow Johan, thats some buy Im not into SNES so i would never pay that much, but it IS a Zelda 3 proto, and Zelda 3 probly the most popular RPG for SNES. About 9500 svenska kronor, if you have normal income you will be back on track in a few months. Atleast you own it now Congrats!Originally Posted by van_halen
