    Strider 2 for the PSone, simply because I wanted the NTSC-J version. I could have got a PAL release for a fiver, but I wanted the import version. After missing an Ebay auction for a copy that finished at about £12 (due to stonedness) I was determined to get the Jpn version. Took a while but I got one for £20 inc. shipping. Bonus.

    Also Mickey Mania and Earthworm Jim for the Mega CD. I refused to pay more than a fiver for PAL MCD games. So I didn't, just took a little waiting.

    I would say "Ducktales" on NES. This was one game I just could not find locally. I grew tired of always getting beat out for copies on Ebay a few years ago, so I bid on two copies and ended up winning both auctions two days apart.

    Maybe it is just me but it is a good thing I have all the Ninja Turtles games for the NES, because I never see any of them in my travels, outside of Ebay.

    Believe it or not, but I had almost 100 games in my Atari 2600 collection before I finally came across a copy of E.T.
    3,582 games and counting! Pics of tons of stuff!

    Astro Warrior for SMS. Not the combo cart, but just plain ol' Astro Warrior.

    I had to search two years for a copy of Jade Cocoon. I played it a few hours and got bored. Kinda disappointing.

    Also, today I was lucky enough to find longbox Skeleton Warriors, even though it's common.

    I have about 120 ntsc atari 2600 us games left to get. Strangley enough Pele's Soccer and Cosmic Ark are still ones that I need. I have them but both do not work.

    It took me a long time to find Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest. I didn't outright look for it, as most times it was overpriced at the local vendors, but one day I found it for a fair price and felt a little relief in knowing my NES castlevania collection was complete. Contra took me awhile to secure too. I ended up getting two copies in the same month without realizing it. I could have sworn that I didn't buy it.

    I still don't have a sealed (I say that only because that's 99% of what I collect, I do have a loose copy) super mario 3. I just feel its the most common title in the entire library sealed so there's always something better to spend the money on

    heh yeah don't sweat it you're not alone I bought Bionic Commando twice in May. I was like d'oh! The funny thing the game came in the mail on a Saturday, I opened the box and saw THE GUARDIAN LEGEND on top (I bought 4 games total, TGL, Adventure Island, Jackal and BC)

    But I was in such a rush to get out of the house and to the flea market I didn't check the other games.

    After I bought BC from the vendor for $5 I drove home going "waitasec...."

    Got home, grabbed the box, looked at the other games and sure enough there was BC on the very bottom.

    OH **** I thought :P

    NES Contra is one I'm still in need of getting. I don't want to pay the $12+ average at the moment though. Waiting patiently to hopefully score one for $8 or less. A la Battletoads and Double Dragon

    Took me awhile to find a copy of Buffy the vampire slayer for Xbox. Of course, i'm asking at EB if they had any copies one week, They have a loose copy. I didn't buy it. The next week they have a copy of it with the box! $10, i buy.

    Also, it took me a year and 6 months or something like that to find a sega saturn. It was the first one i ever saw in person, but it was priced higher than i wanted to pay. I bought it anyway, $30 for it and 3 games.. Turned out to be free.

    I still do not own a SMB/DH cart. Mainly since owning a loose cart is like me owning a playstation game - very rare. I do have the manual for the game though.
    NintendoAGE - The best NES database engine available on the net!

    My Collection - Well, kinda. One of these days I will actually get a pic of the whole collection and post it on there. Until then, I only have a few games in there with some additional collection info stuff.

    I still need about 30 R1 or 2 for the NES (considering I only need about 200 more games, that a lot), but it's mostly because I don't want to shell out the money when I see them.
