    Default X'Eye Question

Is the Sega 32X compatible with the X'Eye?

Yes it is. If you want to play a 32x CD you have to insert the CD game BEFORE you attach the 32x as it blocks the CD cover but it plays all 32x games just fine (including the CD games.)

GREAT system. It will even play some imports since the cart opening is extra-wide. It will also play SMS games with one of the cartridge convertors (not the big thing that fit on the original Genesis... the smaller cart thingie.)

So much nicer than having to hook up a Genny, Sega CD, and SMS. The CD drive is a bit faster, too.

    EDIT

Here's a link to SMS adaptor I speak of.

The X'Eye is indeed fantastic and works with the 32X perfectly. The Power Base Converter requires physical modification, but I believe it too works with the X'Eye.

Worth every penny. It is the Mercedes Benz of the Genesis line.
