I have a miniature Space Invaders tabletop cab that you put your PS2 controller in to play Space Invaders using the classic controls.
Aside from that, most of my stuff is pretty normal.
Don't really know what your post has to do with the post title but please post your finds in the monthly finds thread.Originally Posted by videogameoverdose
About the phone, the Mario Kart phones were originally sold in Target Stores for $29.99 a few years ago but were eventually given away with the purchase of Nintendo systems (GameCube for sure, possibly also the GBA). Problem was most stores got SWAMPED with these phones so a lot of them started giving them out with ANY Nintendo or video game purchase. Basically they needed to be gotten rid of because they were congesting the stockrooms. I had one, the ringer died after a year or so.
To post a picture, you need to host it on a website first. That step is really simple, just go to www.photobucket.com and register if you don't already have a login.
Then, simply upload the picture onto the website using their feature.
Open up the picture and get the url for the picture by itself (a www.photobucket.com/something.jpg or whatever)
Then, when you post stick the photo inbetween
I've got a couple weird things I've picked up over the years, but nothing extremely odd.
Probably my Sega Sports digital watch with it's case is one of the stranger ones.
Also, I have a new Sonic the Hedgehog yellow childrens raincoat.
Nintendo wireless headphone system:
Just thought I'd throw this one out that because I haven't see one besides mine before. It's branded all over it with Nintendo, but it's actually made by a company called Laral Group LLC. It's an RF type of headphone system...and it's pretty full of static when you use it. Still it's nifty to me.
I don't know...there may be 10 million of these out there but like I said, I've never seen one before.
BTW, is this something that could be added to the rarity guide?
Guyver: That's really weird. I saw something like that, but not nintendo branded, at the flea market today. Seemed interesting, but I didn't pick it up.
Well, the only weird thing I have is my Super Mario Bros. The Movie coloring book.
From my Room of Doom gallery. Animated cels from videogame-related cartoons. Shown are: Top row-Q*Bert, Mario (DK cereal commercial), Captain N and Gameboy, Space Ace, and Donkey Kong Jr. Bottom row-Sonic the Hedgehog, Frogger, Link, Pac-Man, Dragon's Lair, and Earthworm Jim. The framed birthday card in the top row was signed by many of my DP pals at CGE 2003 - As well as by Nolan Bushnell himself.

I saw an ad for Contra [yes Contra] potato chips.
Hmm, marketing at its most extreme.

Got any obscure game stuff?
i have this cup that my aunt sent me from Vegas about 14 years ago that says "Sega Carribean Boule". In the bottom of the cup there's a little roulette table and a ball so you can spin the cup and play roulette. the only info i've been able to find on it is that Carribean Boule is a gambling bingo game made by Sega. while not really exciting, it does seem quite unique. Has anyone else ever seen one of these (the cup or the bingo game)?
