Found this one while looking for screen shots. It's a great insight into some of the crap Sega came out with and why, especially X-Perts.

That is a really good read. It looks like the Sega CD's demise was mostly the fault of the Sega upper management. And of course the 32X was a turn from the beginning...

Looking (again) at that resumé/diary makes me wonder if the American way of production isn't actually the Soviet way of production. Throw as many foot soldiers as possible into the battle until you overcome the problems, and make it top-run.

Tony Van is a great guy. I interviewed him last year, and he said some really interesting things about X-Perts, Sub-Terrania, the Sega CD Power Ranger game and the FMV genre in general, and Shadow Run.

The Genesis version of HA is pretty good, actually.

Poor guy, stuck doing shitty games...sure there's some honorable mentions, but he rarely got to touch base with the famous titles

I don't know, Shadowrun is famous, isn't it? It must've sold well because they aren't hard to find. It usually pulls $30 - $50 on eBay, not bad for a Genesis game.
