Your favorite videogames of all time (BEST of the best)

[Edit- This is not a top 10. List as many as you want/no specific order.] But please limit yourself to only the absolute best. What are your favorites?


Mine:

arcade classics - Space Invaders, Asteroids, Berzerk, Missile Command, Defender, Dig Dug, Arkanoid, Marble Madness. - Mario RPG - Great music & fun random battles & a story that's actually good. - Final Fantasy 6 - Woah. The bad guy actually WINS and destroys the world! Awesome. - Final Fantasy 9 - Good story; funny characters; Vivi's the ____; and Princess Garnet is a sweet-sixteen cutie. - Final Fantasy 10 - Yuna's an Asian hottie :-) and a great melancholy story. It's the only videogame that ever brought tears to my eyes-- so darn sad! - Rez/ Space Channel 5/ DDR - Awesome music games. And I love that sexy pink-haired reporter Ulala! - Mario64/ Banjo-Kazooie - best 3d platformers of all time. - Zelda: Ocarina of Time - masterpiece.

Oh, wow, a best games of all time thread...this has never been done before...

Don't matter if it's been done before, new games are constantly coming out and becoming favorites.

My absolute, all time, favorite game IS Final Fantasy 10 and it's sequel. It gave me more "warm n fuzzies" than any other game I've ever played. I thoroughly explored every nook and cranny of 10 and X2.

Other absolute faves over time have been Turismo 1, Phantasy Star Online (any of them), and the N64's platformers made by Rare.

Funny enough, I love the Xbox and the 360 enough to say that they're my fave consoles of all times....but none of the library of games is great enough to be an absolute favorite.
