    Default N64 question.....

Does anyone know how many different colors of the official brand N64 controller were made?

    Grey
    Red
    Blue
    Green
    Yellow
    Gold
Bananas - Yellow pad with DK64
Grey / Black - Came with Mario Kart

Then there's all the pads that came with the transparent consoles, although I'm not sure if they were sold seperately?

    Smoke (black)
    Watermelon (pinky)
    Ice (blue)
    Grape (purple)
    Fire (orange)
    Jungle (green)
    Extreme Green
    Clear Blue
    Clear Red
    Pokemon purple
    Pokemon red

Thanks a lot. As a collector of N64 games, I thought it would be cool to try to get all the different colored controllers. Thanks!

Well that's just to start you off. There's probably some more colours that were Japan only? Or maybe some special ones available from the Nintendo Store with your points?

I do know there are matching red, blue, green and yellow Rumble Packs available, but I'm sure they were Japan only.

The Xtreme Green controller was sold separately though only as a Toys 'R Us exclusive. There were also the Atomic Purple controller which only came with systems I believe.

Add that Nintendo Power 100 pad from the other thread to the list then.

There are 298 titles listed as US releases on this site, including all of the rental only games. I'm three away from a complete set of carts (ISS '98, ISS 2000, and Worms Armageddon); 32 boxes and 29 manuals needed. I also have five of the demo cartridges from the N64 store kiosks. If you're collecting boxes and manuals, I've got extras for quite a few.
