Default Scammer Alert. Huge sealed collection on ebay.

This guy screwed a friend of mine over on some sealed games. Had an account on ebay. Only accepted checks. Never followed through with the games.

So I see this auction: http://tinyurl.com/zf5jg

This auction contains most of the exact same games coming from the exact location. So, I bid, request the user's info and it's the same guy.

I ABSOLUTELY would not buy anything from him. Period.

In fact, I'm one of the people who got burned out of $120 in sealed games (8 total). The seller's account is under the name Stacy Tzeremes, but it's actually her husband, Peter Tzeremes from Bayside, NY (Queens). I've made repeated attempts to get my games, such as calling and emailing him. The first time we spoke, he was really nice and assured me he'd send out my games; the second time (a month later), he hung up on me and has ever since.

This guy is an absolute crook -- DO NOT bid on this lot (well, unless you want to give away money)!

Was it under the same Ebay name? If so, why didnt you leave negative feedback? Ask around at your bank, your bank might have protection for things like this.

It was a different name. I recall these games also.

Yes, the original auctions were under a different name and the user account was suspended, which is why i wasn't allowed to leave negative feedback (I would have loved to, but it wouldn't have mattered at that point).

walrusmonger: you should! Tell him I said "hi" and give him a nice little present for me :-)

So report him to Ebay as a Suspended user hiding under a fake alias. He'll get suspended.

Thought you said he only take schecks? I see paypal as an option.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions -- I've been a user of eBay since 1998 and have a fairly good understanding of what to do as a buyer and seller. I was merely letting everyone know that this user is a crook. All necessary steps have been taken already, but that doesn't change the fact the user is a crook :-)
