That is the official PS1 stick. ASCII manufactured them, and Sony licensed them as the official stick, kind of like how they license the Hori sticks (JPN only) for the PS2. It's a decent stick IMO, especially since the joystick uses arcade switches.

And btw, what's your opinion on the 6-button Genny controller? I have both the 3-button and the 6-button official controllers, and while I prefer the sticks throw on the 6-button one over the 3-button one (it has a wider range), the face buttons are utter shit.

hmm but that doesn't quite explain why theres one that says sony and then the one i just got says asci and doesn't have "sony" on the connnector, if I can find my old ones i'll take a picture.

as for the 3/6 button sega controllers, I don't recall having a problem with the 3 button one, but i noticed yesterday when I was playing bloodlines when i tried to whip too fast or make too many quick jumps the button would "Stick" so you couldn't press it too fast, I don't beleive the 3 button did this, but otherwise I like the stick.

my one complaint on the ps1 stick is its so CLICKY, ever try playing a fast paced action game with it ?

    Haha, more stuff:

Went into work with 2 games for trade that I didn't care about, bought a cheap $2 game and traded them in for the 3 for 10 deal.

    Got myself:

    Metroid classic (GBA)
    Escape From New York
    The Outsiders

    $.45 after the credit

Yesterday I went to Gamestop and bought a used copy of MLB '06: The Show. Returned it the same day because it kept freezing on me constantly during menu changes. So I returned it and got Dragon Quest VIII. And then this afternoon on Ebay, I won a near complete (no manual) copy of Dragon Warrior VII for $16.50.

Bought a longbox Ridge Racer for $3 and a copy of Ridge Racer Revolution for $3. Neither are really bragworthy, but I personally don't come across many longbox Ridge Racers.... Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiidge Racer!

That's exactly why I like the stick. ASCII used real arcade switches for the stick, instead of crappy carbon dots that you find in the NES Advantage, Sega Genesis sticks, and all controller control pads (they're fine on controllers though).

Took a road trip to hit up some thrifts and SA. Came away with the following:

    Genesis:
    John Madden Football '93
    Judge Dredd
    NFL 95
    PGA Tour Golf 2
    Team USA Basketball
    Truxton
Games were $2 each. All but Truxton are boxed some are missing manuals, but I've got the missing parts to make them each complete.

    Dreamcast system & controller - $5

The SA really came through for me.

    Saturn:
    Earthworm Jim 2
Guardian Heroes - Loose - Price $1.00 Even though it's not complete I'm quite happy finally finding the game itself. Both games were buried in a box among the books. What caught my eye was the end of a PSX A/V cord sticking out of the box. So I decided to see what was lurking in it. Glad I did.

    Playstation:
    5 Lightspan games. All loose.

We saved some guy's life. Killed some vicious murdering lichs and blew up something big. I'd call that a pretty good night.

Well I'm back from my long weekend getaway. It's wierd being away from a PC for 3 days.

    I got:

Playstation with all hookupse / extra controller / extra memory card (new)
    Gran Turismo
    RE3
    Army Men Air Attack
    MGS
    Tekken 3
    Driver
    Medal of Honor

    $40

The games are almost mint and non of them are greatest hits. I'll sell a few things off and get rest for almost free. The bonus is they were on my want list.

I also got a PS2 jersey with Toys R Us on one of the sleeves. I think staff had to wear this during the PS2 launch.

Finaly I got Phantasy Star 2 for $5. Cart only.

    Flea Market..

Vendor I know had a pile of around 30 PS2 games and PS games..$2.00 each if I bought the lot..It would of cost me $60.00
I didn't feel like spending $60.00 bucks.,most of the PS titles I have already...As I was looking through the games a guy walks up and asks how much for the two PS2 games (that I have in the picture)..Vendor says $5.00 each but noted that they may be sold to me....
......I told the guy wanting to buy them to go ahead and take them, that I'm not going to buy any..The guy only wanted to pay $1.00 each for the PS2 titles though..(how about $1.00 each)..I looked at the vendor with a laugh and the vendor said F him,he's crazy..
I leave,I think it over, come back and grab those two PS2 games and a PS title for $12.00..(none of the discs have any scratches on them and I don't own them already)
