Your retro articles on competitions in general are amazing by the way, not many people take the time to pay respect to that era..
Not sure how the Star Fox thing worked in the US but here in Canada it was a truck that toured all over and the highest score was the name of the game
I forget exactly how they picked the winners I'll have to do some research for you if you would like
I believe it was highest score for age group, because my parents were nice enough to drive us to various locations so I could ensure myself the best possible score and sure enough I did lol..
I've updated my Super Starfox Weekend/ Starwing Competition article, as the winner of the French Starwing competition sent me some info and pictures on the competition in France! The guy won a one-of-a-kind jacket.
