I once bought 2 sports games from a video store for like a dollar each to test ways of removing those damn labels without wreaking the game. What I think I did (if I remember correctly) was I submerged one game in Goo Gone for like a day straight. If lifted the edges a fair bit, so I peeled it back until it was giving me too much resistance, and put it back in there.
It took like 3 days to complete, but I did it. Didn't seem to damage the game at all. This was on a PS1 CD based game. I'd say your best bet is to see if you can get a cheap game and try this out and see if it works for you. If it doesn't work, at least you are only out one copy of Madden 2004.
I game therefore I am.
Take a hair dryer and heat it up till its hot, then spray goo gone on it. Should just peel right off.
You just want to melt the sticker off with the hair dryer start peeling it then use goo gone on it.
Very easy...
But go very slowly if you rush it you might screw it up!Originally Posted by Darren870

I just pull them off and then remove the goo with goo gone.
WD-40 will also work if you have that laying around the house, and not Goo-Gone. Bot work fine.
