    Default Super Famicom games: tradeworthy?

My brother, who is studying abroad in Japan right now, is awesome and sent me a bunch of Super Famicom games through the mail. I plan to keep most of them, but he suggested I trade away the doubles, which are about 3 FFVs,
FFVIs, and Chrono Triggers. Would I be better off putting them up for trade here, or should I go to an independent game store? I guess I'm just taking a stab at the tradability of these things and where best to do it. Thanks for your input!

They are definitely tradeworthy, but keep in mind that something that is sought-after as an american SNES cart may not be so sought after when it is an SFC cart. The Final Fantasy's are a great example. Text-heavy Japanese games are not generally as prized here because most Americans don't speak Japanese.

although very "rare" games in the us, those games are dirt common in japan (think sport game common) if they are complete you can find some collectors willing to pay alot more for them (especially if they are uninformed), the carts are generally worth realisticly 5-10 each.

Yeah, those are both $5 plus shipping carts. Most of the people who will look to buy them from you are those who want to save the shipping of buying them from Japan.

I'd gladly trade $5 each if I could get all three at once. I hate paying shipping on cheap games. What kind of stuff are you looking for?

Thanks for the input, guys! In terms of trading them here, I really have no idea what I'd be willing to part with. I'm just tempted to go to one of those stores that stocks new and old stuff and hope the guy behind the counter is like "Holy crap it's Chrono Trigger! Sure I'll give ya $30 for that!" So I can put it toward a shiny new DS I seem to want so badly ><

You'd be snowing him good if you could get $30 for a JP Chrono Trigger. I just saw it in a store here in Japan the other day in a 5-for-1000 yen pack (that's less than $10). And that was 5 CIB games for 1000 yen.

There's alot of cool SFC games, just the value can vary considerably from the US value...
