N shitty 4 in the lead
N shitty 4 in the lead
I'm going with the GC. Just because of the lack of 3rd party support, a sub-par Mario game and Celda.
This is like asking which super model is the worst when they are all pretty hot.
If I had to pick I would say the N64, although its hard to pick a system as the worst when it has 3 of my fave games of all-time (Mario 64, Zelda OoT and Goldeneye)
Why is the Wii a choice? Has anyone posting actually laid their fucking hands on it? WTF...and whats with all you N64 haters? And Finally i'd like to say that SNES is the greatest gaming system ever concieved. You do not have a soul if you pick it
N64, aside from the first-party games (which frankly are Nintendo's best yet) it had nothing on the Playstation... Ninty shot themselves in the foot, face and arse sticking with the cartridges.

the controller on the n64 totally queefs. it's the only controller that i can think of that's worse than the genesis 3 button controller. it began the switch from the d-pad to the analog stick for controlling everything. the d-pad was always my favorite part about nintendo gaming.
the system has about 5 solid games and that's it. it was worth the $10 buy from eb games, but that's about it. i've played my own n64 system for about 2 hours and that's it. it just sits in the basement because there's no reason to bring it out and set it up. i'll play the good zelda game someday though.
Easy choice for me... N64.
Gotta say N64. I felt completely rejected and left behind by my favorite game platform when that wonkily controlled 3D-only whizbang hit the field. I had to reluctantly go with the Playstation in that era, with imports it was closer to home than the 64.
Looking back, I really wish I had gotten a Sega Saturn instead. I had a good source for imports, too. *kicks self*
Gotta go with the Cube on this one. A decent system in it's own right, but someone, anyone name me ten classics that have arrived during its lifetime. I can barely even think of two, Resident Evil 4 and Super Smash Bros Melee.
Even before I clicked this topic I knew it would be Kamino picking NES
Another vote for N64 here. Hated the controller and nothing that good to play (Although I love Mario Tennis).
Picked up a Pikachu model at TRU a long time ago, hooked it up and played some games once and that was it.
Where's my "other" option?
I love all these systems too much to hate on any of them. Well, okay, the NES hardware is terrible (I want to play Metal Storm, damnit!). Besides that, I don't have any beef with these systems.
I must say that I HATE THE NES. DOOM TO ALL WHO ADORE THIS %$^& MACHINE. The blinking, blowing out, blowing out again, and again, hyperventalating, passing out!!!!!! This is absurd. Does anyone ever think that we in the US got short ended since the Famicom (Japanesse NES for anyone who didn't know) was a top load system. Note to all Virtual Boy Fans - who really wants a 5 gallon bucket of Visine when they play their games anyway??? SNES ROCKS!!!! BY far the best Nintendo console to date. This is of course for its extensive RPG library and best Mario and Zelda titles to date (until the Twilight Princess release).
Nintendo designed the nes not being toploading when it released in 1985 because the retailers didn't want anything that looked like a video game system. Nintendo also created Rob the robot for that reason.Originally Posted by feellikeakidagainandagain
I agree about the designed sucked, but you can't blame them for doing so in 1985. It should've been changed before 1993 though. It should've been by 1990.
Ya know, the NES 2 (toploader) sucks too, thanks to the picture problems. For that reason I'd honestly rather have a regular NES (just so long as the cartridge connector isn't out of shape).
are you kidding or are you kidding?
this topic is retarded, and so is the poll.
the clear "winner" here is the virtual boy! dur....
N64 all the way. I just tried to get into the games for it but could not. I was severely disappointed after the countless hours of playing the NES and SNES that the N64 was so disappointing. It's not that the graphics sucked or anything...just seemed like the quality of the games wasn't there. (Guess the controller helped too...I mean the 3-handed concept drove me nuts!) After the N64 I thought the Gamecube was gonna be a disappointment too....I have more games for it than any other Nintendo system!
I chose Gamecube but only because that is my least favorite of all of them. I think the 'cube is better than most consoles out there, but there is no way that I would put it above NES, SNES or N64.
N64 is an easy choice here. For me, it's not about the controller, or the fact that the games are still on carts...it's one simple thing. I hate the Mario game.
While I still have an N64, it hasn't been touched in a long while.

That's a great* reason to hate the system. I take it you hate the DS for the same reason?Originally Posted by scooterb23
