    Default "Aces Over Europe" Problem

I just got the Windows95 comp CD of Dynamix's "Great Planes" computer flightsimulators.

    On the CD are ....
    1] "Red Baron"
    2] "Aces Of The Pacific"
    3] "Aces Over Europe"

    They all work *perfectly ....
Except the one I want the most "Aces Over Europe". lol

    "Aces Over Europe"

When I activate it I see the opening cinema just fine.
But then a box pops up that says I don't have enough memory to run it
None of the others on the CD do this.
I have 512 MBs of RAM lol

    Any help, PLEASE ?

    Thanks In Advance!

You may need to look at the memory settings in the game. Sometimes you even need to be in DOS mode to play. Toy around with it until it works, that's how some of the older games ran.

    Thanks Cyber!

The computer I use has "Windows98".

Could you tell me, please, in a step-by-step/plain English/"First Type This Then Type That" kinda way
how I can run a game in DOS using "Windows98" ?

    Thanks In Advance!

Can't say I can just do a type this and that method but look at any configuration files. Make sure that if you can toy with the memory settings to try it. Older games allowed you to reallocate memory to make it work on different systems.

As for the running under DOS, select the restart in DOS mode and go to the game directory and toy with it from there. If it's a complete dependant Windows application then it'll request you to restart in Windows.

If you still have issues look around online for FAQ or trouble shooting sites and see what's up. Last resort (and I don't know of MODs would appreciate it) send me a file of the game zipped up and I can extract it onto my box and see what I can do. If it's a pain and requires a disc then send me an ISO so I have your exact version, and send any patches you may have.
