Then, for the techies out there:
Picked up this very nice Intel switch. I used it partially at the LAN party and fully tested out to be working great! It's already out performing my Horizon VH-2402S T-10/100 switch and starts up faster. Total price: $10.

Oops. I meant to post this in the July finds, but I guess July is over already.
So in the last few days of July I got a complete, working RDI Halcyon with both games and all the manuals! It cost a lot, but it was well worth it.
I'm working on getting pics taken and will post them along with some more info I have when I get a chance to sit down and type it out.
PS1 Hot Shots Golf $3
Passed up an Aura Interactor (I guess it's like a "virtual reality" rumble backpack or something, this thing) for genesis, CIB for $15. Oops?
alot of toy finds today:
the nes was 8$ a little pricey but it came with an rf that i've never seen before, the two games were 3$ each both of which suck and I don't have.
the pokemon binder had some decent shiny shiny cards always wanted Tidal wave, coudln't pass him up for 2$ the pokemon mangas were 25 cents each and the video game mags were about 50 cents a piece. overall I spent a little less then 40$
might be my last thrift adventure for a few months while I save up for botcon in september
N64 with blue controller and power cord. No video cable or games.
$8.08
I've never owned an N64 before, so now I have to go find a Mario 64 cart.

You won't* regret it. I bought one for $4, It's a total waste of money and space. When i tested it it made my back ache.Originally Posted by wallydawg

Holy hell, that's gotta be the find fo the year, whatever the price. Damn, nice work!Originally Posted by 98PaceCar
Here's a picture of a bunch of the stuff that I was able to snag from NAVA:
Most of it is complete/boxed NES games that I needed the boxes for.
Some empty NES boxes courtesy of Joe
Some empty N64 boxes from Vectorman0
A few loose SNES games from GAC
My collection is a lot more 'boxed' with what I got this past weekend.
@ Jumpman Jr., You should update you complete Us NES collection soon, ^.^
And how many boxes/manuals till your complete NES collection is CiB?
Love, Captain Qb.
The DP guide puts it at an R9, but I think that may be a bit generous. While I was researching it I only ran across one other person that would admit to owning one. It seems that finding the laserdisks and even the laserdisk player is much easier than finding the rest of the parts necessary.Originally Posted by Slate
Sadly the guy I bought it from had already sold his Adventurevision before I found him. I could have had the 2 biggies in one fell swoop! But at least I got the hardest one to find first, I've seen Adventurevisions sell from time to time so I'm not as worried about it!
I don't know about find of the year, but it's certainly my best find in a LONG time, if not ever!Originally Posted by smork
So far.........
Salvation Army:
-Original gray Playstation with 2 complete games (extreme sports titles), 2 dualshock controllers and all hookups for $11. Perhaps I overpaid a little but I always grab used PS consoles.
Goodwill:
-A couple High Frequency turbo/slow-mo controllers for the Sega Genesis
Pawn shop:
-$1 each for the following loose SNES carts: Super Mario World/All Stars combo, Secret of Mana and Final Fantasy Mystic Quest
Not sure yet... but I'm pretty far off.Originally Posted by Captain Qb
I think I have around 420 or so boxed at the moment, with an additional 60 coming in the mail shortly.
Tennessee trip last month:
Astro Boy: Omega Factor ($14 at Wal-Mart)
GBA 3-cart holders (two packs of three, $10 for both at Best Buy. I seriously cannot find these where I live so I bought two. :P)
July 22:
Ready 2 Rumble Boxing (DC) (case, manual, inserts, no game)
NBA Hoopz (DC) (case, manual, inserts, no game)
The 7th Guest (PC) (case, CDs, manual)
Silent Steel (PC) (case, CDs)
Frankenstein: The Monster Within ((PC CD)
Novastorm (PC CD)
Those were obtained as part of an "All you can fit in a bag for $1!" deal. So each of those cost me around 7 cents!
I also got these four sealed PC games on the same trip for $6:
Advanced Dungeons & Dragons: Shadow Sorcerer
Wing Commander II
Buck Rogers: Matrix Cubed
Cyber Empires
Sold 'em for $50 to three different people.

Strike Commander + Wing Commander Privateer CD
Ys Book 1 + 2 (Turbo CD) inside a Light Fantasy II case, no manual
Battle Arena Toshinden Artbook - apparently released for the OVA of the game, in GREAT condition (if anyone's interested, hit me up with a PM!)
Last sunday: I got a bunch of XBox 360 Live Gold packages from a clearance sale. They're now on eBay. ;p
Today:
Earthbound cart - going to eBay in a few minutes! I need the cash. :P
Yeah, that's it for games...
Came in the mail:

Found at a flea market
Mermaids of Atlantis with the box for $15
but no manual or papers
