I don't understand why this 2004 game is so unreasonably priced on ebay and amazon, but, yeah, I want to buy it. I'd even buy one that needs to be resurfaced.

The ONLY way I can get it is through rental.

How come the game is so 'rare'. You can find the first Dark Alliance anywhere.

It is a very good game that had a low print run. Even if you find it at gamestop/ EB in store now, they charge $40 for it.

It's rare because:
1. The first one was awesome and everyone wants to play the sequel.
2. The printrun for the PS2 version was super small for some reason.
3. Many people are out there like you who really want the game and *are* willing to pay those prices. As long as it commands those prices and people will pay it, the price will never come down.
