U GAIZ JUST DONT LIKE CHANGE , (builds a artificial foundation here)
I wonder how the Sony haters and the EA haters will react. x_x

PSP is on the downfall. It needs a redesign and new price.
This isn't really leaving their support; it's simply critical. Atari was critical of the console manufacturers a while back; why can't EA be?

Indeed. This thread needs a title change; EA will continue to release PSP games. And for the 100th time, I don't understand how a portable gaming system that has outsold the Nintendo DS in the United States can be considered "dying".Originally Posted by Ed Oscuro

I saw Need For Speed Carbon running on DS recently and was impressed. It can't hold a candle graphically to the PSP but it was still nice.Originally Posted by DigitalSpace
What's more significant about this comment and the building "Sony hatred" is the fact that developers are upset at all.
There was a time when Sony could do no wrong. It seems that time is over.

Chalk me up as one of the ones who thinks that EA has a lot of balls saying that someone else needs to be more original and fun.
But that being said, the last console that EA decided not to support was the Dreamcast and how did that eventually go for Sega? Sega even had much better 1st party games to back them up with than than Sony does and it still didn't help them.
With the launch of the Lite, those days have come to an end, and of course the fact is that PSP is for the softcore gamer. As a result, we see almost no PSP software sales (didn't get a single game on the top 25 for June or July) and that's what matters to the developers.Originally Posted by petewhitley

Because here at DP, we are like all Nintendo DS fanboyz and hate da Piece of Shit Portable, like duh.Originally Posted by petewhitley

Matbe, just maybe people are sick of buying the same shit all the
time off of you EA,
PSP can live without you, oh and yes I do aggree its time for a
new price point to Sony.
zomg I have a sig
Hey, EA's just trying to fit in with the crowd. Everything that gets released on the PSP is shit.
I think the sad thing is the only desirable reason to own a PSP is to play Nintendo games released over 10 years ago on it
Maybe if the PSP's library didn't consist of a bunch of generic sports games and shooters I'd be interested.
Somehow I doubt a very small percentage of PSP owners that use their systems to emulate the NES is the reason behind Sony outselling Nintendo easily last year.
Long story short. PSP and EA are both pretty skimpy when it comes to innovation. If both of them came up with something decent more often, then it'd be a great thing.

Everyone that I know who has a PSP mainly uses it for emulators. 2 of them don't have any games, 1 of them has 1 game, and the last guy has 3 games.
That's pitiful. These aren't your hardcore gaming nerds, either. These are people who listen to rap and think Madden is the best thing since sliced bread.
