    Default Ps2 game troubles

I recently got Shinobi BRAND NEW, and I let my buddy borrow it, and I got it back, it has NO scatches on it. Yet it won't go past the PS2 loading screen, I just can't figure out what is going on, can somebody help?

    He musta crippled it.

Seriously tho, clean the disk, if that doesn't work then i don't know, put a shot of compressed air in the console too.

Try to return it or call tech support of the company who makes it.

have you tried just letting it sit there for a bit...there's a few PS2 games that load slowly for me, like socom, it leaves the browser/system screeen there for quite a bit of time before it actually gets into loading the game.

? dont sell it at a loss.. there are several things you can do.. buy a new one then return that one as defective and get a refund. or, rent one and return that disk at a $6 loss.

You might try it on another PS2, your's might be going out.

The Important Data is on the Front of the disc. Are there any scratches on the front. A lot of my Dreamcast games are in Mint Condition but a couple have a scratch or two on the front and they won't even boot.
