    Default New Wii images

    Nice.

The only bad thing is, you'll have to buy 3 more Wii controllers + 3 classic controllers to play multiplayer using the Wii classic controller.

Look at the picture with the person holding the Wii. That thing is almost as small as Genesis 3.

Couldn't you just use the cube controllers that you already have / would be on clearance by then?

Hot stuff though, although that shotgun addon needs a pump on it. Hopefully someone will make third party handgun and rifle models...silent scope could be interesting, and i'm always up for another justifier.

That looks pretty sweet. Will we get the shotgun in America? I figure it would be to controversial. And is there any word on the release date yet?

That gun attachment looks sweet!! I'm still up in the air on the normal controller. It looks huge.

    I miss light guns, dammit!

unless that flap open up all the way, resting on top of the console, I dont think the WB receiveers would fit

Yeah, you could but the classic controller was made for the older games so that they would feel about the same as the would if you played the older system (especially SNES). The button layout is a little different.

It doesn't look very big to me. It looks about the same width as the GameCube controller.

Even if that does work, does that matter to you?

Nintendo Power said that the Wavebirds will work. So if the receivers don't fit, maybe the system has some type of built-in receivers.

No price or release date yet.

    Great pics!

I really like the SNES looking Wii controller, and the shotgun attachment is just awesome. I'd love to play some Doom 3 with that thing.

I heard the Wavebirds would work "out of the box"; i.e without the receiver add-on. Just use the controller and it would sync up with the Wii.

Indeed. That's the deal. They don't need the controller port receivers.

My question is: What is that flap below the disc drive for? Could it be a GameBoy Player?!?

I wouldn't put it past Nintendo, and it would be incredibly sweet.

I wouldn't get too excited, all it hides is a SYNC button and the SD card slot.

I have a big expectative about Wii.

Games for the system likes Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and the Sonic for the system, Virtual Console system download, 3rd party support likes SNK and Sega and the controllers.

IŽd like the classic control because ressemles the Super NES control, but with analog direcionals.

Wii, the nameŽs of my next-gen console.

that shotgun looks really awsome, analog stick and all!

The classic controller takes the cake for me, cool stuff. Can't wait!

That's a complete rip off of this Joytech PS1 controller.

At first it seems like they copied them but the only things I see that they could have copied are the shoulder buttons. They've already been using the other button layout. The NES start and select were next to each other so they could have just added a button in the middle. The analog sticks next to each other is common.

I'm not saying they didn't copy, it just doesn't seem like they did to me.
