eBay Insanity Contest II - Hand-gathered Pac-Man feces!

Ok, as stated in the original eBay insanity thread, this was one I did with the help of congobongo. Sharing the credit where sharing is due, and if it DID win, I'd happily split any prize with him. Anyway, we were talking on IM and he said how funny it would be to have an auction that said "Ever wonder where all those Pac-Man dots went?" My imagination started running and I asked him if it was ok to go with that one for the contest. I started pondering what WOULD happen to all those dots and came up with a rather bizarre interpretation of what would happen, not to mention where packing peanuts and Runts candy come from I wrote up the auction, posted it, and congobongo loved it too. It was really fun to write that one.

Personally my favorite part was the part about why the color varies in the individual pieces of Pac-Man crap. Anyone who's dealt with arcade machines knows what happens to those old RGB monitors when they need a capacitor (cap) kit. They start losing colors, but only one color at a time, Red, Green, or Blue, and they start making all kinds of psychadelic color schemes. So I thought it would be really funny if the cap condition affected the color of the feces, kind of like if you eat certain foods, it has a similar effect.

Anyway, while it had the least fanfare of my auctions, I thought it was by far the funniest! I hope some of you really liked it too!

Ok....addendum to this one....I just received the following email about my Pac-Man feces auction:

Dear Max-Lords,

As a dedicated collector of Pac-Man memorabilia, I am very
interested in your auction of Pac-Man feces. There is one
concern I have about it, however.

Pac-Man excrement is, to the naked eye, indistinguishable
from ordinary hole-punch waste. To determine if it is
authentic, it must be chemically tested for residual
radioactivity from the monitor phosphors. Have your samples
been tested by an accredited lab, and if so, do you have a
certificate to prove this? I would greatly appreciate it if you
could provide a scan.

I have to say that I think that that qualifies for the funniest bidder question I've EVER been asked!

Also, a friend of mine took a look at this auction and it turns out that I accidentally put some completely unintentional Engrish into the auction! Here's what I wrote:

"Please to not try to ingest any Pac-Man leavings."
