Default New Prototype Game Each Day for a Week

I've realized that i'm aquiring betas at a faster rate then i'm posting them, and in order to clear out some of the backlog I'm going to put up a new article each day for the next week.

Hopefully before the end of the week i'll figure out how to make my capture device thingy do video, we'll see...

We're starting the week off with a bang, an early alpha of what's imho the best Xbox game out there, Ninja Gaiden. This alpha dates from 2002, two years before the game was finally released.

I have this video! It came on the OXM disc.. I think it was the October 2002 disc.

Even back then, it still looked great.

I'll see if i can get that disc and compare the video to the playable version, thx!

Day 2 is now up, a copy of Street Fighter EX3 that Sony gave to the Japanese press a few months before the PS2 launched. If their goal was to impress the media with their 'supercomputer' they probably should have picked a better game... and this time i actually managed to grab video.

(Yeah, your guess is as good as mine in that shot)

Prince of Persia 4 is up next. Why 4? I'm not sure... I guess there were some older prince of persia games on the mac. I dunno.

Naming irregularities aside, here ya go:

    Another day, another beta...

Mech Assult for the Xbox Beta Live system. Not only is the game a beta, but it will only run on beta hardware.

Updates were delayed when my host accidently shutdown the ftp service on my server...

This one is a game everybody here should know and love. I'd take some pics of the guitar and box, but i don't have a camera atm...

    Cool thread

I really like to see how games progress over time.

A few memorable ones for me were RE4 when it had static camera angles and Prey in 1998.
