A friend of mine asked me to ask about getting help for his nephew's PSP. See, it's broken... his brother (the kid's father) gave it to him a bit ago. He gave a hyperactive nine year old a PSP. Feel free to stew in anger, then come back here.
You ready?
Well, the thing won't turn on anymore. According to him, the PSP turns on for a few seconds then goes back off again; the PSP won't boot into its internal software/firmware at all, and it can't be hooked up to a PC (it's not recognized). The battery's fine, though. The kid's father says that he did nothing wrong, but you know how kids are.
My friend said that he didn't find any real information on the internet, only sites that repaired them. But since my friend's brother is an Electronic Engineer (I didn't even know that was a REAL career :P) he said he wants to try and fix it himself, so whatever. Does anyone know where to get info on this specific problem, and how to repair it yourself?
Thanks.
