Hehehehehe. I love explaining this! OK....

The US TG16 goes with the CD-ROM add on unit. Once you have that, you can play regular CDs like Ys Book 1 and 2, and Exile. If you want to play Japanese huCards, you need a convertor to play them (which you have). Where it gets complicated is with CD-ROM2 games and Super CDs. To play a CD-ROM2 game or a Super CD, whether it's US OR Japanese, you MUST have the System 3 card in the system. The System 3 card is a Bios upgrade for the CD-ROM unit that lets you play CD-ROM2 and Super CD games. It's compatible with both the US and Jp games, but you have to have it (and the convertor to run the Jp Sys 3 card) in your system to play those games. If you need any more info, just PM me. I can explain it to you!

anyways, here we go again. I got all this stuff from dd on here but didn't ask him how and whys.....and i have a chance at a ton of other pce-cdrom and that stuff so i ned to know what i have here and what i am doing.

    I have:
    US tg-16 system
CDrom unit add on for that system
    a converter for jap cards
    a jap system 3.0 card.

I inderstand that i need to stick the system 3.0 card in the converter to play the jap CD games, but if i'm just playing a us cdrom i don't need any card, just stick the cd in and turn it on?

understanding i have the above, what all can i play

    US Tg-16 HU cards (yes!)
    Jap PCE HU card (yes!)
.....but i don't know all the us and jap cdrom formats i can use, can someone list those out for me, of what i can play!

    -Thanks
