When did Gears of War start looking this good?

Last I checked, the game was still a bit grainy and had a horrible frame rate. Now look at it! It's all grown up! This is what an Xbox 360 game should look like.

Yeah the game looks insane, frame rate looked quite stable in that video.

Way back when Gears had a high level of detail but lacked a passable framerate. Everyone knew it had to improve. He told me it'd run at at least 30FPS and he hoped to get it as high as 50FPS, yes 50!

If the final version plays as good as it looks we're in for a treat.

My local EB had a gameplay video running today. Supposedly potrays actual gameplay....it looked fantastic; no real framerate issues. Played much faster than I expected as well. Wasn't as dark, and has this weird graphic for blood spatter when your shot....looked awsome though...
