Can I have multiple eBay accounts with one Paypal account?

Silly question, but Microsoft's been bugging me lately. They've been pulling my Microsoft software auctions, so I decided that instead of risking getting my main account killed, I'd simply list those with another eBay account. Thing is, I don't know if eBay will allow me to create a secondary account using the same Paypal acccount, ya know?

I'm aware that a few people here have one account for buying and one for selling. Is it possible to have two for selling, though?

(And so you know, MS is killing my "Software CD + CD Key + Jewelcase" auctions because they're supposedly not legitimate. Which is funny considering the amount of auctions that go on, and they never pull those.)

yes, you can use 2nd ebay account using the same paypal account.

Yea you can, but you aren't allowed to sell those. Those need to be sold with an actual computer. You're "new" account will get banned and when they do follow ups and see that there is another account (your "main" account) related to a banned account it will also be banned.

I just got my main account (600+) banned because of that shit, and now im trying to get it back.

Up to you if you think its worth it. That stuff you are trying to sell isn't suppose to be sold with out a pc anyways.

Dammit, don't you think I know what that is? Everything I sell is totally legitimate. I know about bundled software and I DO NOT SELL IT.

I am selling -full- retail versions of the software. I mostly stick to programming environments such as Visual Basic or C++. I don't buy OEM software unless it's for myself.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I've had some serious issues with some major clothing companies and music conglomorates who told ebay my stuff is bootleg, when it definitely wasn't. I would forward proof of legitimacy to the specific company's legal department, and I'd always get the run around. There isn't much you can do but list under another account. Ebay will always listen to VeRO members, no matter how wrong the companies are.

The key is to not get one account suspended. Set up a few selling accounts using the same bank/CC/Paypal info. Find some feedback auctions and build them up to a reasonable level. Use one until you get the official VeRO warning from ebay. Retire that account and move on to the next one. I have found that ebay will NOT suspend you outright for violating VeRO if you have over 50 feedback.

Yep, once a company pulls one of your auctions, you will remain on their watch list essentially forever. It sucks and the only way to combat it is to try with another account, or simply sell off ebay.

Well, I did what eBay told me to do - I sent Microshaft an email and the only thing they did was send me a canned response two minutes later.

Motherfuckers. Oddly enough, they're leaving my Visual C++ 5 auction alone. Hrm.
